If you have not been seduced into Ravelry yet, whooo boy! http://www.ravelry.com/
Founded in May 2007, Ravelry is the brainchild of husband and wife team Casey and Jessica Forbes. Their idea was to create a web presence for all fiber artists.
In Jessica's own words: "Ravelry is a place for knitters, crocheters, designers, spinners, and dyers to keep track of their yarn, tools and pattern information, and look to others for ideas and inspiration."
Look to others for inspiration - that is what really caught my attention. Whether you work with fiber or not, the works on here are very inspirational.

In the same way that Rachel Nelson-Smith collects inspiration images from Google - I look to Ravelry.
Although I know I have to significantly de-stash my yarn (3 full godzilla size Rubbermaid containers full and various baskets artistically strewn throughout my place - HA!) - this does make me want to buy more yarn. I hope Tim and Declan are NOT reading this blog!
Here are some pictures to get your creative juices flowing or make you yearn for more yarn. What happens is up to you. I am not responsible for any purchases that you make!

You can find me on Ravelry under the name.....DixonChick - what else?
To become a fan of DixonChicks Jewellery on Facebook - just do a search for that name.
