I'm sure you read about the beading emergency that occurred here last week with the disappearance of my absolute favourite flush cutters. I don't think it's an official law like Murphy's Law or anything, but as Cynthia alluded to yesterday, If you think you have lost something and buy a replacement, the original will appear.
Rachel also commented on these cutters and gave me the links to the company.
These are made by XURON CORP. Love that name. Appropriate. Their tools are out-of-this world!!!!
You can find about why these tools are so special. I don't want to infringe on any copyright until I hear from Xuron directly, so I am putting a link to the info here: http://www.xuron.com/quandas.htm#Q2
And they have a real name - not just Stephanie's Favourite Cutters.
They are officially known as:
Micro-Shear® Flush Cutters
Version 9200
Tapered Head
How cool is that to use a tool that sound like it comes right out of The Terminator movies?
Go away little T-1000, the 9200 is here!!!
Please check out Xuron's website at http://www.xuron.com/index.htm
This was the necklace that I was working to finish for a deadline. It's the July Celebrity Designer Inspiration Challenge piece I made for beadFX. It's called Kenyan Sunset. Here's the link: http://www.beadfx.com/inspirations/inspirations.php?id=252
